Description
FTP3000 series low power supply is a high cost performance, super practical, universal power supply. It can be widely used in laboratory test, vehicle equipment test, solar inverter test, DC/DC converter and inverter test, engine start test, battery automatic charging, electronic product life cycle and other test links. The product is equipped with color screen and English menu interface, easy to operate and intuitive, is the common configuration of the desk of power electronics engineers.
Voltage and current slew rate setting
FTP3000 series supports voltage/current slew rate setting. The adjustment of the slew rate slows down the voltage (or current) rising and falling speed, which can effectively avoid the damage of the surge current to the device under test. The unit of voltage slew rate is V/s, and the unit of current slew rate is A/s.
Wide range output
FTP3000 series power supply provides wide range of voltage & current within the power rating of the power supply, this means both low voltage/high current and high voltage/low current DUTs can be tested using a single supply avoiding the need for multiple power supplies.
Programmable sequence waveforms
Programmable sequence allows users to edit voltage and current waveforms by themselves. The FTP3000 series provides 20 sequence files, and each file supports up to 20 running steps. You can set the output voltage, output current and delay in each step. The sequence supports the attributes of "run times" and "linked file". "Run times" can control the sequence to run cyclically, and "link files" can increase file running steps.
CV / CC priority
When power supply is connected to an inductive or capacitive load, it will cause voltage or current overshoot, which may trigger the protection of the device under test, or even cause the device under test to be damaged in severe cases. The FTP3000 series has CV and CC priority functions to effectively suppress output overshoot and its impact.
As illustrate below (Yellow curve: voltage, Green curve: current)
Analog programming
The FTP3000 series has two analog input ports for voltage programming and current programming, which can control the output voltage and output current respectively. The analog programming signal is a 0-5V DC voltage signal. The programming signal corresponds to the 0~100%F.S. output voltage and output current.
Internal resistance simulating
FTP3000 series power supply can simulate the output characteristic of battery by setting the internal resistance. When the output current of the power supply increases, the output voltage will be adjusted automatically according to the internal resistance value preset by the user.
Voltage ramp function
FTP3000 series power supply support the function of voltage ramp-up and ramp-down, which can slowly increase the output voltage from a low level to a high level, or make the output voltage slowly drop from a high level to a low level. Time ranges from 10ms to 99 hours.
Composite signal port (optional)
FTP3000 series can be equipped with a composite signal port, which has the following functions:
1. READY power supply working status indication;
2. Output mode indication;
3. Composite external control (can be used as trigger or ON/OFF control signal);
4. Voltage and current output monitoring;
5. Voltage and current programming control.
Interface and protocol
Standard RS232, LAN, optional CAN interface, support SCPI, ModBus protocol. It greatly facilitates applications.
Host PC software
The FTP3000 series provides a host PC software with virtual instrument function, which can read test data, generate images, export reports, print reports, etc. in real time, it is convenient for customers to use.
